To Our Viewers

Shortly after Michael left us, our family realized with startling clarity that if we hadn’t heard of the dangers of Binge Drinking and College Hazing, there were likely many others of you who hadn’t as well. With this in mind, we incorporated as a non-profit in the State of Utah and began working towards designation as a 501(c)(3) non-profit with the Internal Revenue Service.

Our efforts include:

• Educational presentations to college and high school students

• Media engagements with local television and radio news stations

• Stories for print in the local and regional print media

• Active pursuit of legislative changes through grassroots outreach to the community, as well as direct contact with State legislators who have demonstrated an active interest in helping us further our legislative goal of achieving more clearly defined in-place Utah Code

• Working closely with national Hazing experts and other families who have suffered similar losses to organize and fund a national symposium on the topic of Hazing and
  Binge Drinking

We invite you to show your support with a monetary donation. While they are not tax-deductible until we achieve 501(c) (3) status with the IRS, they will go directly toward achieving the goals listed above.
